Mission Statement
St. Louis the King Catholic School provides a quality Pre-K through 8th Grade education in a caring, gospel-centered environment.
Our Philosophy
St. Louis the King Catholic School provides a caring environment where each student can grow spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, physically, and safely. While recognizing parents as the primary educators of their children, the faculty and staff commit themselves to quality education which helps prepare students to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world. We model and teach Gospel values, recognize and develop the unique qualities of each student, facilitate the building and promoting of self-esteem and self-discipline skills, and provide opportunities for prayer, worship, and service to others in our Church and society.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK

Catholic Schools Week celebrates what makes Catholic education distinctive and exceptional.  During the week, we focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation. We build community awareness of and involvement in Catholic schools throughout the country. And we honor those who contribute to the success of our schools—students, families, faculty and staff, volunteers, community supporters, and local and national leaders.

Please join us as we kick off Catholic Schools Week with our Mass and Open House on January 29 at 10:00 a.m.  The open house offers visitors an opportunity to tour our campus and meet our principal, teachers and students.

Several activities are planned throughout the remainder of the week, including our 7th Annual Read-In and Community Appreciation Lunch on Monday and a Diocesan Mass at SS Simon & Jude on Wednesday followed by a rally at the state capital in support of Catholic Schools and school choice.

We will honor our teachers on Tuesday with a special Teacher's Appreciation breakfast, provided by members of our Parent Support Organization.

Grandparents (or other special guests) are invited to join students for lunch at 11.m. on Thursday, February 2, as we celebrate Grandparent's Day.

Last, but certainly not least, parents will be treated to free coffee and donuts in morning carline on Friday, February 3.  Please be sure to stop for a quick pick-me-up.

ST. LOUIS THE KING RECEIVES GRANT FROM CATHOLIC COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
